I’m giving a presentation/workshop at LCC Center for Teaching Excellence on Oct 15, 2013 about Blogs! What Are They and How Can They Help You and Your Students? From the description:

Come to this session and learn what “Blogs” are, how they work, how you can use a blog to help your students and improve your teaching, while saving yourself time. Blogs are free and easy to setup and manage. If you don’t have a blog of your own, you will learn how to obtain one and get started using it. Participants will leave with ten different ways blogs can save time (and paper). If you already have a blog, come and share your experiences and we’ll make the list longer!
